Our story

A lawyer walked into the jungle and did not come back the same

Taita Inti exists because Naysha Silva could not unlearn what the plants taught her — and because bringing that work to Europe honestly turned out to be harder than it sounds.

Why we exist

Ancient practice, honest logistics

Naysha grew up in the Peruvian Amazon and trained for years with maestros there before she ever held a retreat of her own. What she found in Europe was demand without lineage: ceremonies run by people who had read about the plants rather than lived with them.

Taita Inti was built to close that gap. The medicine, the songs and the diet come from the Amazon and are led by people from that tradition. Everything around it — screening, houses, food, follow-up — is run the way a European retreat should be run: written down, checked, and answerable to you.

Seventeen years of ceremonies, six countries, and one non-negotiable: nobody sits with the medicine until we have spoken with them properly.

What we hold to

Three commitments

Authenticity

We work only with traditional healers from the Amazon, with medicine prepared in the traditional way. No blends, no substitutions, no invented rituals.

Safety before numbers

Medical and medication screening, sober facilitators awake all night, and the willingness to turn people away — including people who really want to come.

The part after

A ceremony is the easy half. You leave with a written integration plan and a call two weeks later, because that is where the change actually lands.

Meet the people who hold the ceremonies

A curandera, a Shipibo-Conibo maestro, a body therapist, a circling facilitator and a coordinator. The same six people, retreat after retreat.
